Malá Morávka is a quiet mountain village in the Jeseníky Mountains where children don't have to spend their holiday in the car. From the MONTANUS garden it is only 400 m (about 5 minutes on foot) to the Kopřivná ski slope and summer park, and a cross-country ski trail runs right past the house. The aqua parks in Bruntál and Rýmařov are within 20 minutes by car.

- Aqua parks: Akvacentrum Bruntál (17 km, about 20 minutes by car) and Aquapark Slunce Rýmařov (14 km, about 17 minutes).
- Pool complex in Karlova Studánka (6 km): open to the public in the afternoons and at weekends.
- Trips: Praděd by bus to Ovčárna and a 3.5 km walk, or the Bílá Opava waterfalls with older children.
- A village walk: Malá Morávka has been a protected village heritage zone since 1995, with examples of traditional Jeseníky timber architecture. At the junction towards Karlov you will find the remains of a turbine from the former Müller paper mill.
Winter
- Kopřivná (400 m): ski school for children with a kids' park, a conveyor belt and slalom features. Lessons last 50 minutes and include the ski pass.
- Ski Karlov (5 minutes by car): more slopes for advanced skiers and night skiing.
- Cross-country skiing straight from the house.
- After skiing, the Finnish sauna, included for apartment guests.
